Healed

I'm back and feeling more blessed and connected than I have ever felt. My journey thus far has been a roller-coaster. There have been days where I've felt like I was in a really dysfunctional after-school special. Funny how now I can see the purpose behind the pain. I was telling someone the other day how right now, in this moment, I am beyond grateful for my hardships. I feel healed. Recovered. Whole.

I used to look at my eating disorder as a huge waste of 12 years of my life. I see now that it was simply a springboard to do bigger things with my life. Once healed, turning pain into gifts feels effortless. I'm putting that healed energy into my new website. www.wholefigured.com. It's time to drop labels. Skinny, fat, thin, full-figured etc. I don't care if you're a size 2 or a size 10. I want to know if you're whole and healthy. It's time for women to heal their relationship with their food choices, their weight and their bodies. It's time to evolve past the issues that keep us oppressed and confined as women. It's time to be Whole FIgured.

I'm applying for a trip to Costa Rica. Although, I'm competing against doctors and trained professionals who have been in practice for years, know I have a vision that will change the world or eating disorders forever. You can view my entry here. Please send some love into the universe for me. If I do win, I just may sneak you in my suitcase.

I've missed blogging.I promise to catch you all up on our crazy little life in the next 30 days. Yes, I am vowing to blog every day for the month of May. I can't promise you brilliance, but rather a small glimpse into the life I am so grateful for.

XO,
Rachel

Most guys have a totally different view of body image than females but I am very happy for you and all that you may be able to make females more comfortable with their own self appeal Rachel.
